Its days like these worth living
Today was like a new day all together. I woke up late today, which meaning I actually slept. I woke up a few times during the night but I easily could make myself fall back to sleep without any problems. Early this morning around 5 in the morning my boyfriend sent me a message on facebook, and in this message its obviously private but to some up what i am trying to say it was a message of relief love and assurance and making me have more faith in something than i ever had before. I could never describe this feeling in words but i loved it none the less. I went back to sleep so soundly, i over slept. I woke up, showered, got ready, and we went to this city called Parma. Where in Parma my host farther has an office there. For those of you who dont know, my host farther is a private doctor and has many offices in the area. Also in Italy (weirdest thing ever) but shops and places are closed on sundays, mondays, and thursdays... depending the area i dont understand this but yeah. So today is obviously Thursday so not many shops were opened but some were. On the way to Parma in my host farthers amazing car, he drives like a race car driver i kid you not! I counted like 10 tickets he would have recieved if we were in the states, but thats how people drive here. I love love LOVE it. lol. We arrived in Parma and my host mother and I on foot went looking at churches and momnuments and going in to shops that were opened. We went into two churches. I FELL IN LOVE with the art. The building alone, the way it was built was art but inside... inside each wall was painted, beautifully! It was amazing. H&M here is like a little upscaled forever21. It was awesome but everything was pretty much the same and so i didnt buy anything although was tempted. (when i say the same meaning for italy not in the USA def. not the same styles as the USA) My host mom and I laughed and talked alot today it was amazing to have that level of simple bonding over nothing pretty much. She bought me new earrings and i love them <3 We sat and we had dinner together and just talked and talked. We finally arrived back home when my host sister Lodo, was getting ready to go out. We get along quite well because she is so nice and sweet and she is GORGEOUS. I had saw a dress at H&M she might like and her mom did too and i picked the correct size and everything and she was so happy lol. I am telling you, its the little things in life. I then offered to do her make up for her. She said she saw that i did mine so well she was going to ask before! Her mom and her just loved it. and she was so happy before she left she ran and hugged me and kissed my cheek. She said when she returns in winter she will have her own personal artist and that i could go visit her when ever. She is 19 and lives in Venezia, studying at a university for oriental languages. She was so happy, and i felt so great for making her happy! It really goes to show you dont need alot of things in life just people who are greatful for your presence.
