ahhhh so i know i havent updated in a bit i suppose but its only because i would think about updating but then i just wouldnt want to. lol weirdest thing. **rubs hands together to get ready to unload**
This weekend had to have been one of the most amazing experiences, not because it was in the alps... ok yeah cause it was in the alps but because i bonded with a bunch of americans that i didnt know and it felt amazing and made me apriciate everything back home so much more and then it made me realize how lucky we all are. Not only are we here in Italy learning the language or getting to see things people not even in italy probably see in a life time but the chance to bond with people in the world around us and to realize the little things in life that we wouldnt really even think about at "home". Sometimes we have to be thrown out of our comfort zone to realize that things arent always going to be ok, emotionally. things arent always going to be easy and things are not always possible to change. Sometimes its better that way. I am so blessed to have all the things i have now and all the people that are in my life now because literally i could never imagine life without them. Moving right along, alps were amazing, literally if you have nothing better to do and you have random money that you can get quick go to italy. go abroad do something its worth it.
next subject... school!
holyyyyyyyyy ish! way different. way cool, minus my german teacher. haha. she is the rudest and most close minded women in the world. sad but true on so many levels. she found that embarressing me because i dont know the language funny and even my classmates or friends now, were like.... bitch. (sorry for the word) i told my host mom about it and no worries my host mom was just as put off by it as i was because in reality she is just a lady who is full of ignorance and no knowladge. she made some guy move by me to try to teach me italian and in his italian accent he said "she is so stupid, she wants me to teach you German, when SHE doesnt even know German" so in your face lady!
anyways my friends took me to some pinini place for lunch and was the best thing everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr lol. because it had fries. LOVED IT. my friends are so sweet and thoughtful it is awesome and i love it. btw math is already a forgein language... so yeah -_-
next subject...
the other day my host mom and i went for a walk and as we walked the streets just to walk we talked all in italian, as of course she helped me a lot and told me what words meant but it felt good we were bonding over a beautiful language as i taught her new words in english i love it. its great to know that not everything is about "lets go out and do something" but really all you need is amazing streets and feet to walk with and a mouth to speak with and the world could be such a more opened place for things that truly matter. Its so weird to me because everyday i learn a little bit more and not even about italian but about myself, about my emotions and how close minded i was but yet so opened. i dont know.
FOUR FEET ON THE GROUND, A HEAD FULL OF FOLIAGE, LOOKING AT THE WORLD THROUGH THE HEART.
